King Creek Canyon - Deep in Kananaskis Country, there is a trail that winds between steep canyon walls. The bright sun in the clear sky glanced off the canyon walls and nearby mountains creating an incredible display of light and shadow. It was winter and the snow was deep. Although the trail is relatively flat, it isn't for the faint of heart. Hiking poles were a definite asset! It turned out that path crossed over a lively creek several times and those "bridges" always consisted of an icy log! Nevertheless, we made it to the end without soakers. 

Definitely a trail to do again!
